Why did we create this asset?
-
A leading Irish educational publisher, Gill Education, launched a new art and art history programme for students ages 15 - 18 years old.
-
The textbook authors wanted to develop assets that provided teachers with a guide for the key information in each unit. Due to the nature of the textbook content, the lesson guide needed to be highly visual with an emphasis on the artwork.
-
The Design Rows team developed a presentation for each unit for teachers to use in-class or online. The presentations included key information from the textbook. along with knowledge checks throughout. The overall design of the presentations matched the printed textbook design - creating a clear link between the content of both assets - while the slides were intentionally text-light and image-heavy to emphasize the artwork.
Why did we create this asset?
-
A leading Irish educational publisher, Gill Education, launched a new Shakespeare programme for Romeo and Juliet for students ages 12 - 15 years old.
-
The textbook author wanted to develop assets that provided solutions and sample answers to the portfolio (or workbook) component of the programme.
-
The Design Rows team developed solutions presentations for each unit of the portfolio or workbook. Each unit addressed an act of the play, Romeo and Juliet. The presentations could be shown in-class or online, while the ‘click to reveal’ nature of the assets offered teachers the option to engage students in discussion before revealing the correct or sample answers.
